This Christmas story, shown on a giant screen and interjected with light sequences and fireworks, will delight the holiday makers. A torchlight descent with the arrival of Father Christmas on skis will be the evening's finale. Throughout the week, special children's shows will be organised in this “Famille Plus” resort.

Torchlight descent by the French Ski School ski instructors on La Masse side. Arrival at La Croisette. FREESTYLE SKI JUMPS SHOW, DJ… MULLED WINE offered at the bottom. FIREWORKS. A hot wine will be offered to the public.

For the 8th time, Les Menuires honours French vineyards. More than thirty winegrowers from all the regions present their production during the "French Wine tastings and sales" evenings, enjoyed by every one.

Nearly 1300 people are expected over these two weeks of competition in 4 disciplines for skiers and 3 for snowboarders.

“Carnival in Les Menuires…Don’t forget your Fancy dress”
Tuesday will be a great day. A free make-up stall will be on the whole afternoon, Place Joseph Fontanet at the Small cross and a procession "Les piou-piou à la neige" will be organized starting from 16.00 A hot chocolate will be also offered to the children..
29th February 13th Trophée de l’Espoir
Sponsored by David Douillet, the Thophée de l'Espoir (the Trophy of hope) collects money for the local Mentally and Physically Handicapped Association. Solidarity, sport and party time are on the program with demonstrations by handicapped and valid athletes, a torchlight descent open to everyone, a tombola and open air show...

The Full Metal Contest
Les Menuires welcomes the first edition of the Full Metal Contest, organised by the Darker Team, Les Menuires and Saint Martin de Belleville riders’ association.
This day is dedicated to new glides: a ski / snowboard contest for pro and amateurs at the snow park of Les Menuires, a prize-giving and a live concert with the local band Destiny.
More than 50 riders are expected in the resort with the best French ones, for a day of fun and friendship.
The contest will be organised as a “Jam session” (notes on a set of figures, no limitation of runs) and opened to every rider dressed up in the heavy metal theme.
The first prize of 2700€ and many other prizes will reward the riders. A money prize will be awarded to the most daring fancy-dress.

From 11th to 18th April Children's Music Festival
The Children’s Music and Song Festival in Les Menuires. When music lapses into second
childhood it spreads little notes of happiness around Les Menuires. Throughout the week the resort will vibrate louder and louder to a festive music score. Shows, songs, musical discovery workshops and sound creations will link together, right up to the final concert, an imaginative symphony for amateur orchestra and «moo boxes» ! This event, reserved for children, is what all parents have been waiting for!
